Restored Chinese dwelling in Arrowtown.
There was a gold rush near Queenstown in the late 1800s. A number of Chinese came to work in the mines. This buillding is part of little village in which they lived. A person 5' 2" has to bend down to enter. The shrubs with yellow blossoms are Gorse, one of many invasive plants in New Zealand.
