Key Summit Alpine Trail
We took a 3-4 hour hike in search of Alpine flowers. Despite being partially frustrated in this objective, we had a great hike. The scenery was good and the people were few although this is part of a multi-day track that hikers can take. The trees in the foreground are some of the Southern Hemisphere beeches the make up many of the forests of the South Island.
