The game ended with a spectacular block by Duke's Jasmine Thomas that prevented a possible winning basket. The Xavier coach, Kevin McGuff, thought that Thomas had committed a foul. As he heatedly walked onto the court to protest, he and his assistant coach was restrained by one of the Xavier players.<br />
