Panoramas
The panoramas in this galleries are from a variety of locations. I have uploaded large versions of these images. You can see the images in larger size by hovering your mouse over the image. In general, unless you are interested in how well the software has stitched together the images, 2XLarge is probably as large as you want to see these.

Green Bank Telescope at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory at Green Bank, WV. The GBT (aka as the "Great Big Thing") sits in the middle of the National Radio Quiet Zone which was established in 1958. (There is no way this could happen today.) For more information on the observatory and related radio astronomy information, see http://www.gb.nrao.edu/)
This panorama was constructed from hand held images using Autopano Pro. The images were taken from a observation platform that is close as one can use digital SLR. These cameras emit enough radio noise to interfere with the telescope's recordings.
