High Art in the Crapper; Hundertwasser toilets
An Austrian ecoarchitect, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who lived in Kawakawa, designed public toilets for the town. Hundertwasser believed that flat surfaces and straight lines were unnatural and hostile to the natural creativity of human beings.
